I first became interested in gas stoves wood when looking for a good backpack stove. the advantage of Gasifier is that you won't have to pack fuel as you can simply use sticks. I built my own out of tin cans with instructions from YouTube & I liked it. I was reluctant to buy one because they are too expensive-until I found this one. works great for 1/3 of the cost. shipping takes a little from China, but worth saving. the image is just burning broken
